Summary
If there was one person or thing on earth that could keep him here, it’s Shane. Ilya knows he’s been lucky to love Shane and be loved by Shane, especially for as long as they have. There’s people who go their whole lifetimes without ever knowing or feeling that sort of love, and Ilya was lucky to find it in this lifetime - he prays he’ll find Shane again in the next one.
But Shane deserves so much more than the broken mind Ilya is living with. Shane deserves to not have to put up with Ilya’s meltdowns and depression spells and crying jags. Shane deserves to be happy. Shane deserves to put his whole focus into someone worth the trouble, and Ilya knows he’s not worth the trouble any more.

Summary
He wasn’t ready for this.
Maybe he never would have been, not in two, or five, or ten years. Maybe he would have spent the rest of his life holding this secret inside, not telling a single soul about the way his heart beats for his biggest rival. Or maybe, in a year or ten or once he’s retired, he might have come out publicly. Might have shared his truth with the world.
But that was supposed to be his choice. To tell or not to tell, to hide in the shade or step out into the sunshine. It was supposed to be his decision, and now it’s been taken from him.

Summary
James stretched his arm out beside him to pull a dandelion out of the grass. He sat up and lifted Reg’s hat so he could tuck it behind his ear. He put the hat on his own head. Regulus gave him the best scowl he could muster whilst ignoring the heat that crept up his face which he knew he couldn't blame on the weather.
“I'm going inside,” Regulus announced. He made no move to get up, but James caught his hand like he was already walking away.
“Wait, I wanted to ask you something.”
“Yes?”
“Would you like to spend our summer break with me?” James asked. “At my home.”
***
Regulus spends the summer with James, along with all of James’ friends, one of which was his obnoxious brother, Sirius. With new friends, a hidden boyfriend, an infuriatingly annoying older brother, and a few unfolding secrets, this summer should prove to be interesting at least. Maybe even enjoyable for the five of them. That is if Regulus and Sirius didn't kill one another before it was over.

Summary
The sad thing about dead fathers is that they are forever enshrouded in a golden halo of light, suspended in immaculate perfection like some ancient mosquito long dead and trapped in amber.
The sad thing about alive ones, on the other hand, is that they live long enough to disappoint you.
(For five years of Samira’s life, Robby had been her mother’s husband. Not her father—never her father.)
