He imagined her graceful approach, each step bringing her closer to him, the soft rustle of her dress blending with the gentle night breeze. Her scent grew stronger, wrapping around him like a comforting, familiar blanket. The anticipation of her arrival, the knowledge that she had sought him out, sent a thrill through his veins. He could almost hum with contentment at the thought, the sensation of being wanted and sought after by her igniting a slow, smoldering fire within him.
