Summary
He carefully removed the gauze covering its upper quadriceps and guided the Soldier into the oversized shower stall. It was capable of performing its own cleansing routines, but this handler had initiated shared showers early in their cohabitation. It was not irregular, except that all previous handlers had used this time for recreational purposes as well. The Captain seemed only to take satisfaction in thoroughly cleansing the body, as one might perform maintenance on a valuable rifle. A fitting comparison, if it had not jammed and misfired today.

Summary
"Take Me Back" is the beginning of it all.
-Steve Rogers has face so much in his life, but he never allowed himself to show what he was feeling on the inside. When Bucky returned, Steve thought everything would magically get betted. Boy was he wrong. Bucky is doing his best to claw his way back into being a person and as he does, he noticed the cracks in Steve's mask. Bucky can not stand by and watch his best friend fall apart in silence.Take Me Back is officially completed! But there is so much for these two, along with bonus chapters!
The bonus chapters are labeled with where they fall in the timeline of Take Me Back and are mostly used for the sexual content because the original story does not include anything of that nature.
In addition to the bonus chapters, there are some backstory chapters added to the series as well.
And now, a continuation of Take Me Back has begun! Follow along with what happens next for our boys in "The Cabin in the Woods"
I hope you enjoy these new additions, but know that if you do not want to read any of the side stories/sexual content, the plot of 'Take Me Back' will be understandable without them!

I was always meant to be in the shadows, so what, again, I ask, was I supposed to fucking do? Ask you to stay? God, how selfish would that be of a sidekick, hey? Keeping the hero from getting the girl?"Bucky's life took on a life of its own - the last thing he really remembers is standing in the field, asking where the fight was. Now, after the fight is over, after Steve's decision, after discovering time travel is possible, he needs to find a way to move forward. Or backwards. Either way, he is not ready.
