Yamato Endo is very much fine with his two great unrequited loves Takiishi and Sakura. There is no possible way he could ever develop a thing for someone with as much puppy-dog energy as Nirei; there's just nothing interesting about him... except...
Nirei Akihiko has no interest in Endo other than cataloguing all the ways he's awful in his notebook and protecting his friends from Endo's manipulative charm. It's just a fluke that his usual fight/flight/freeze/fawn response cycle short-circuits in the strangest ways when the man is involved.
What if the world has other plans for them.

Summary
Just as Sakura's grown to feel more comfortable as a member of Bofurin, Endo comes back into his life to make Sakura keep his promise to spend time with him. Indulging Endo's feelings might be risky, but Sakura can't help feeling drawn to him. Under the weight of Endo's affections, Sakura can barely keep his footing, but he's afraid to ask his friends for support.

Endo gets a peek at the back of Sakura's neck. It's almost illicit with his skin mostly still hidden by the collar of his jacket. Reflexively, Endo's alpha scent gets more oppressive from his intense attraction to Sakura. He can't resist leaning in closer, tilting his head to get in Sakura's blushing face.
"Oh? Then I'd love to know what nestin' is like for you..." He whispers. "I feel like I got a preview before I see the real thing one day."
Sakura's blush deepens and he pushes Endo's face away. Endo's heart skips a beat at the brief contact, even if it's to keep distance between them.
"Don't be weird." Sakura grumbles.
Endo laughs playfully as Sakura turns away to bang the paint can shut.

Summary
Typically, each repeat of Saiki’s junior year is uneventful, but sometimes, there’s an unexpected outcome, shifting the typical course of events. When Saiki decides to “help” Toritsuka’s band for the cultural festival, he expects it to fail as it usually does, but instead, it flourishes. Toritsuka, who was before seen as incel trash, is now insanely popular among the student body almost overnight. But with Toritsuka’s shitty personality and lack of experience, he fumbles every girl that comes his way.
Ever since the show, Saiki has had to confront his own confusing feelings, and they are only heightened by Toritsuka suggesting they practice together. Quickly, the lines of platonic and romantic intimacy are blurred, the tension between them thickens, and their friendship becomes homoerotic. With both of them socially stunted by their psychic powers, it wasn't long before the relationship became codependent and toxic.
This could end in one of two ways: either they confront their inner feelings and a relationship blossoms, or it ends catastrophically, leaving them both emotionally damaged, frustrated, and unsatisfied.
