Summary
It is an average morning. The birds are singing outside. Kaveh didn’t fall in the shower. Mehrak is floating somewhere just outside the kitchen while Kaveh gathers up his most recent sketches into tubes for safe keeping. Kaveh humming something under his breath as he double checks that he has everything he needs for his meetings and consults. The coffee didn’t burn. It is a perfectly average morning.
Alhaitham just set a stew to simmer for the next few hours. It will need Kaveh to return to stir the contents in about an hour and a half. Then another hour and a half from the prior. Once more about an hour before Alhaithm gets home. Plenty of time for him to go to his client meeting and leave time to talk about designs in between all the stew checking hours.

My fellow readers, Kaveh's kiss(Ch1) are all cute and caste. Alhaitham(ch2) is trying to all but drown himself in the Kavussy.

aka: The One Where Shenhe physically cut her emotions out as part of the red rope ritual that bound them. Cloud Retainer now houses them in her abode, and has been praying everyday to Rex Lapis that he might have a better solution long term.

People often pull punches... so strikes and attacks are not generally at full force. Sparring can be done with or without weapons, but I am competitive and haven’t ever stopped nurturing my own need to fight, not since I left home for the first time.”Pantalone rolls his eyes. “You mean you have goaded everyone you know into a sparring match at full power and you could only get 4 of the 11 Harbingers to ever take you up.”
“Huh?” Bilal pipes up, titling his head to help get his point across in duplicate.
“The Harbingers? Or who has he goaded into fights?”
Bilal hums before settingling on, “Boff. Need t’ know moh.”

Summary
Dying, as it turned out, was something that you should have seen coming. Your line of work was dangerous. You took the more dangerous missions and cases to help shield those under your command. You really, really should have seen your own death coming.
You had taken four grazing arrows to the back, all of them just grazing the top layer. Causing bleeding, but no major damage. The one that actually struck you was a giant crossbow bolt. It shattered your rib and pulled your entrails out with it.
Evidence now shows that these Treasure hoarders had gotten something stronger to help them. It was almost funny. The blood loss sure wasn’t helping on either end. But they had upped the ante.

He might have neglected Kaveh for a bit. True. But who could judge him? Do you know how many books he missed out on while being the Acting Grand Sage?
Anyway, from the unprecedented dramatics in this one greeting and first four sentences of a five-page letter, he hopes not all of Sumeru is involved in their lover’s spat.

KEBS so real of Alhaitham. so very real for all his rational to go into disecting emotion into math.
ALSO *WOW* love getting to watch this display of power to be able to do all of these works of dendro vines and talking his circles around the aranara(condolences for using the aranara as a plot device, they are so "Aranara" about how they talk).10/10 mister i am not made of emotions made the emotions of the he loves into a mathematical formula to figure out how he is feeling. and mister feelings figured out how to talk in tighter circles and the moth needed to use their system of loving each other (hold on im gonna throw up from crying so hard).
