After Project Insight fell, Steve put everything he had into finding Bucky. And he did. He brought him home. And once he wasn't being tortured into forgetting on a nearly daily basis, his memories and personality came back to him astonishingly quickly. Everything should be perfect.
And it is. It is.
Except in the bedroom.
Completely out of his depth, Steve turns to the man he'd ran from for help. Triple Agent Brock Rumlow.

Summary
Brock isn't too thrilled to be sent away from the only home he's ever known to romance a foreign prince and bring him home to be a political hostage against his native country. Not because of the prince part, he'd be even less interested in romancing a foreign princess, but because he knows that whomever he brings home is going to end up living a short, unhappy life in the viper's pit that is his home court. But one doesn't argue with his father and live to tell the tale.
And it doesn't help that the foreign prince is practically the man of his dreams. Other than the part where he's so tragically naïve -despite having been captive to their war for years before he could break free- that Brock is sure that bringing him home will be a death sentence.

Brock wondered if Hydra Command had any inkling of how thoroughly they'd fucked themselves, giving him the Soldier. Nobody’d had any idea that the mark that had turned him was a werewolf until too late. There wasn't a lot they could have done to prevent that. But the decision to give the Winter Soldier to him to integrate into his pack had been a mistake, they just hadn't realized it yet. Because he could ignore a lot of what was done to humans. Humans had fucked him over pretty thoroughly. But his pack was everything to him. And there was not a single damn thing about the way they treated the Soldier that he would tolerate being done to a member of his pack. They would suffer for every injury done to his pack member. And soon.
All signs point to this being eventual WinterHawk.

He was content knowing that the Winter Soldier had escaped Hydra and that the scrambling factions of the organization would never touch him again.And then James Barnes walks into the Avengers Tower screaming at them to let Brock go and he has to wonder if he really deserves this.
He probably does.
