There was a liver washed up on the shore.
Another one.
Phil huffed as he nudged it with his boot, baffled at where they could be coming from.
When he moved to live by the shore, he was comfortable in the fact that some weird shit might happen. He was the only person around for miles and the sea was always something that was steeped in mystery.
Due to that, he settled in the knowledge that every now and again something strange might wash up on shore and give him a bit of a fright. Strange bones, rotting carcasses and even discarded items people have just tossed out into the waves were what he was expecting.

Impulse might have been a demon but he still had no heart to say no when Jimmy asked if he can come by Hermitcraft to apologise to Tango after they were the first death of Grian's newest death game. Not with the way he asked about it. "I heard you two are close outside this, and I really want to apologise for how quickly we died for good..." the canary-avian asked as Impulse and other Hermits were getting ready to go home once the session was done. Tango was already gone, likely already with Zed. Either cuddling or getting up to worse. Not even waiting for him...

It's almost as though this wasn't pure coincidence.
