Summary
Set in Avengers Tower because I'm in the middle of reading a FABULOUS in which John punches Sherlock once he shows up at the Tower. This is my take on what would happen had that happened.
Essentially, the team stares at Sherlock making tea, Johnlock bicker like, well, long-lost lovers reunited after one of them faked their death and didn't tell the other one, and John jumps Sherlock, but not in the way you're probably hoping.Inspiration thanks to the beautiful fic by DullYellowEye called 'In Which Neither Coulson nor Sherlock are Dead (and John sort of joins the Avengers) :D It's beautiful. And it's long :D :D:D:D

Inspired by the first chapter of iamsuperwholocked 's fic 'Catch Me If You Can'
It started off slow. A body or two along a highway a little carved up. Each one had a D carved on them. In other states at the same time, one or two bodies killed by the same, circular blade. The police identified these bodies as the works of two different people. Two different killers.
Their calling cards became the D carved into the flesh and the name, Castiel, with the last part constantly crossed off.It even started simple enough.

Summary
Spock knows what humans say about him. His ears are too keen to miss the whispers. He has been referred to as Kirk’s pet. As his servant. As his bodyguard. As his shadow.
A relationship does not exist among humans that corresponds to what Spock is to Kirk. In Earth’s past, perhaps, it did, but it has been lost. He has read enough Earth literature to have found it in Lancelot and Arthur, Sam and Frodo, Olivier and Roland. But there is no name for it, no reference to search for. And when humans recognize it for what it is, there is this trace of disgust. Because it is unequal. Because they feel it is shameful to be in the position that Spock is.
It is the deeply held loyalty of one man toward another. It need not be returned; most often it is not, or not in the same way. Spock felt some of that for Pike. But what he feels for Kirk staggers him with its strength. It speaks deeply to an instinct within him which he cannot deny. Not that he chooses to protect Kirk. Not that he wants to follow him. That he must. That he will. That, in the second between danger and thought, his body moves on its own.
