When he looks up again, Sisyphus, purring loudly, has his full, not-inconsiderable weight pushed into Harrington’s chest, who’s got both his hands petting down his back, fucking cooing.
“Holy shit, I cannot do this,” Eddie says, and then shoves the application back toward Harrington and says, “No.”

Hermione froze and met George’s eyes as he comprehended what his twin had just indirectly told him; that she hadn’t gone there specifically for Fred. Her cheeks heated and it felt like her whole body flushed, but she didn’t deny it. She’d told herself before she left her flat that she wouldn’t lie to them, and saying that she didn’t want them both would be just that: a lie.
“Is that true, Hermione?” George asked as he rounded the chair and sauntered to stand in front of her. He reached out and placed a knuckle beneath her chin, forcing her to look up and meet his gaze again. “Did you come here planning to fuck us both?”

Eddie and Steve have been spending a lot of time together since Vecna. They're co-parenting kids, getting high every night, and sleeping in the same bed. They basically share a wardrobe too.
He thinks this is dangerous, its like they’re married, the casual sharing of intimacy, this space between them which feels like something and nothing all at the same time. He thinks it’s dangerous for him to pretend Steve sees it the same way, that one day Steve’s droopy, kind eyes are going to see right through him and he’ll lose this. This being a side of Steve’s bed that is his, a nightstand where his rings always pile, a drawer of shirts in Steve’s bedroom that only Eddie uses. He can’t lose it, so he shuts his mouth, turns out the light, and watches the slow breathing of sleep fill Steve’s chest.

“Thank you, Kore.” He pauses and licks his bottom lip, and Kore is certain she is an inferno, a beacon of fire, turned to ash.
“Rey,” she whispers. “I - you can call me Rey.”
“Thank you, Rey.” She shivers. “I am called Poe.”
The name stirs an ancient memory in her breast - the mortals call him something different, but the mortals never really get anything right - and Rey nods faintly. The red of the flower seems to increase in intensity, and then Poe bows to her, whispering, “Goodbye, little princess,” as he walks away.
