Summary
The world is an unfair place.
You flip a coin, and when you need heads, it will give you tails. You cross the street, and you get hit by a car, because you forgot to look both ways. You get beaten down by your peers for things out of your control, sneered at and jeered at, because you don't fit their expectations. The world is unfair to you, and if it were fair in just one thing, it would be in the fact that it is unfair to all.
Midoriya Izuku knows what it's like to live in this unfair world. The cracks in the pavement where fortune falls down, the drainage pipes in which keys and rings are lost; he does his best to find the nooks and crannies that will give him an advantage, but he still suffers with the rest of us. His only friends are far away, and his relationship with his mother is in danger. He could once call amazing heroes his family, but they left him behind. He has been falsely diagnosed as quirkless, and with that declaration comes most of the misfortune that is his existence... yet he is determined to beat the odds anyways, and he has the entire rest of his life to do so.
The world is an unfair place, but Midoriya Izuku is ready for the challenge.

Summary
About a month ago, Tails picked up some familiar signals indicating that Eggman was on the move again. Sonic and Metal were on the case, immediately going out to the area that the signals originated from, but nothing was there to be found. No new secret bases jumped out at them, no handy lights and sirens went off to tell them that they had gotten close enough to set off the alarms- nothing. It was only them, the ice, and the snow...
Almost every day since the signals were first picked up, Sonic and Metal have returned to the Ice Cap zone in search of Eggman's new base, and Sonic has noticed some strange things going on with himself. He's been moving slower recently, and he's been sleeping more than usual, and he wasn't all that hungry anymore. Well, it wasn't too much to be concerned about- stranger things had happened to him, and if anything went wrong, Metal was there to help him.

Summary
Loki gets a chance to change everything. The Norns, having become tired of Odin's meddling in the Weave, have decided enough is enough. Death sees this as a chance to plead their case, asking for Loki to go through the trials needed to become the Master of Death. In order to stop Thanos, Loki would agree to anything, knowing what is coming, and so he does. Hera Potter grows up not knowing who she'd been, what she is expected to go through, or that she's already fighting for something greater than herself. As the barriers fall between this life and the last, Hera will have to navigate through who she was to stay who she is. She was Loki once, but she is more than that now, and she will fight to keep it and the life she's made. If that means flinging her soul across time and space, or using the knowledge she has to navigate through a future she should not know, she'll do it. Who is Thanos to threaten everything she loves? Who is Dumbledore to think a child should be responsible to win a war? And where does Odin get off thinking he had any say at all?
