“I mean.. you apparently don’t, so that’s that.” He hums, then, nods to himself. “But you’re right. We really need to do something about those statues.”

Kaeya had grown. The baby fat was gone for good. His shoulders had broadened, and his sun-kissed face was as sharp as his smile. Diluc wouldn’t have recognized him, had it not been for the sleek black patch over Kaeya’s right eye. The left eye widened ever so slightly at the sight of Diluc. That was expected; three years had changed them both.
When Diluc returned to Mondstadt, he found Kaeya had taken his place.
