Buildings do not differentiate themselves, no matter how much humans do it for them. Almost every language on earth has a word for house or home or shelter, and as these were the first buildings ever created by man, every structure thereafter—whether made from mud or fiber or brick or ice or wood or stone or steel or glass—has called itself a House.
The curse of being a House is that Houses hold memory far better than rivers or woods or anything else. Even battlefields eventually forget.
Houses, however, do not.

Part I: Go Fuck Yourself Obi-Wan
When a strange artifact brings a twenty-three year old Padawan Kenobi to a Jedi temple fifteen years in the future, the council decides the best person to keep the troublesome young man contained is Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi himself.
Over one strange night, Obi-Wan gets to know himself on a— deeper level.
Part II: What the Fuck, Obi-Wan!?
“I’m sure you remember the little—” Obi-Wan begins, his voice strong despite the hesitance Anakin can feel hanging around the man, “the mixup with Padawan Kenobi?”
“Of course. What does that have to do with—”
Suddenly, Anakin remembers something else— standing in the center of this room, just a few feet from where he sits now, lecturing a still-waking Obi-Wan about answering his comm, when a startlingly shirtless Padawan Kenobi had stepped out of his master’s bedroom with pink cheeks and a wide satisfied smile.
“Wait— you slept with him!?”

Only, as darkness seeps into light, oppressing the galaxy’s unassuming inhabitants, Yoda makes a decision. Geonosis leaves him weak and shaken, afraid for the return of the Sith and the Republic’s unstoppable descent into war. Even he is not fit to lead the Jedi alone.
