Summary
A mysterious patient gets sent to The Pitt with a gunshot wound, sealed off with a tourniquet by his best friend. The guy keeps mentioning things about his senses and spirits, and makes shockingly accurate statements about the staff. What secrets is this guy going to reveal? And who is he?
OR
Shawn Spencer finds himself in an ER bed, bored out of his mind until the staff gets some tests back. Fortunately for him, the strange group of doctors are holding enough secrets to make his stay as interesting as possible. Gus keeps worrying about him, and claiming he's got 'PTSD', but the only one at the hospital with Pessimistic Thoughts about Supernatural Deities is Gus. And probably the rest of the staff, who keeps freaking out when he mentions ghosts, and the possible shooter still at large in Pittsburgh.

Of course, it’s never long before he starts picking up patterns, solving cases made up of co-worker drama and whatever else that doesn’t matter. The perfect mind for the perfect detective that he’ll never be.

Samira Mohan's nickname in The Pitt is "Slowmo," and even her attending physician seems to encourage the label, criticizing her for taking too long with patients. What she doesn't know is that Doctor Robinavitch used to be criticized for the same reasons---taking too long with patients when he was supposed to be becoming a surgeon.
