    When Draco gets fired, he reluctantly agrees to break up a girl’s relationship for her disapproving mother. Through word of mouth, the one-time gig turns him into a professional Matchbreaker, however he winds up falling for one of his clients and must somehow balance his secret job and love life.

    “So who is it? The Curse-breaker and the Veela? The head of the Department of Magical Transportation?” Draco’s eyes lit up. “The Dragon-tamer?” Now that particular Weasley could be fun.

    “No. It’s Harry,” Hermione said, the name exploding out of her in a rush.

    Draco blinked, stunned into silence.

    “Harry,” he said, after he recovered his faculties. “You want me to break up Harry and the Weaselette?!"

    “Oh, fuck,” Harry breathed, flattening against the wall and tugging Draco with him, yanking the edge of the Invisibility Cloak back down over their heads in one swift, panicked motion.

    Draco stumbled into him, not quite prepared for the sudden proximity. Their chests bumped, feet tangled, and Draco found himself bodily pressed against the stone wall. “Move over,” he hissed, elbowing Potter in the ribs.

    “There is no over,” Potter whispered back, breath ghosting over Draco’s cheek. “We’re invisible, not intangible.”

    Potter is handsy. Draco pretends it doesn't affect him, till he can't anymore.

    Harry swallowed hard, his heart rattling in his chest. “Voulez vous... chou- uh- coucher avec moi?”

    Draco choked. His eyes widened, usual composure slipping as a faint blush pinkened the tips of his ears. The sight of Harry, standing there with that soft, bewildered baby-koala look, asking him to-Christ.

    “No, Potter,” he said, voice clipped. “I don’t want to have sex with you.” And then he turned on his heel, swiftly walking away, like he could outrun the heat climbing his neck.

    Harry blinked after him, stunned and mortified, the words still echoing in his head. “That’s what that means?”
