“Uh-huh,” Mike says faintly, and he yelps when they narrowly avoid the edge of a shining skyscraper, and his hands clutch onto Spiderman instinctively. “Oh – my fucking God, that –”
Spiderman’s fingers press a little firmly into Mike’s shirt. "Just – hang on!"
"What do you mean just hang – was that a pun," Mike sputters, clutching onto Spiderman for dear life as they swing through the city, and he can hear the superhero laugh through the racing wind in his ears, the rumble of it under Mike’s arm wrapped around his middle.
In a city of superheroes, Mike keeps running into Spiderman, much to his dismay.

She checks again, and yeah, Will is holding a stuffed bear, not a cat. The beloved Tiggy stays firmly attached to his bag, so they aren’t playing with tigers, either.
“So they go back down the mountain, and now all the village people are asking them about the crystal, and Rory is sad thinking they didn’t get it that whole time, but then–”
“Meow. Meow,” Will declares, removing the teddy from the dinosaur’s back and making it do some sort of interpretive dance.

Will’s mouth falls open, just a touch. Mike has one leg on either side of his dorky offroad bicycle in the middle of a tree-lined street, the weak January sun painting him in a halo ring of white, and he’s asking Will not to leave him.

This is the first girl who’s ever asked Mike out — something he had, in the not too distant past, been terrified would never happen. And Mike just stands there, feeling like his dining hall dinner is about to crawl back up his esophagus.
Jeremy, Saint Jeremy, nudges him with an elbow. “He’s kind of private about it, but Mike actually has someone back home.”
Mike turns his head to look at Jeremy, expecting a knowing smile or the hint of a wink. But Jeremy actually looks sincere, which makes Mike’s eyebrows sink down, almost to the top of his nose.

“What happened to ‘Yeah, I’m gay, but I do have standards?’” Hazel asked, disbelief lacing her voice.
“I settled.” Nico replied immediately, holding his sister's gaze for all of two seconds before yelping and looking back at Leo, who may or may not have kicked him in the shin. “Kidding! I'm kidding.” He held his hands up in front of him. “Obviously, the… um… pining… was unbearable. And, deeply hidden, of course.”

Or, Leo needs a fake-date for a wedding. Nico's willing, but their chemistry is... less than ideal. Will is incredibly gullible, and Jason is having a sudden realization about himself. (Not a Valdangelo fic. They're besties but not lovers)

The building begins to fall around Robin at a violent pace. He’s gripping the silver bar tightly now. It won’t be long. The floor is shaking, the roof is falling, and he thinks of that happy place of his, that memory, and then he desperately whispers the words engraved on the bar—
Nothingness. For an instant, there is absolute nothingness.
And then—
Robin opens his eyes. For a moment, he wonders if he’s made it to the afterlife. He’s on that hill again, and next to him is the picnic basket. He could smell the cheese laid out next to the chocolate that he and Ramy had spent too much of their money on. His eyes begin to water at the sight.
“Birdie?”

Before Robin dies in the collapse of Babel, he gets a second chance to do it all over again. He’s not going to waste it.

“I recognize him,” Adam said. His eyes slid to Shiro’s arm, widened imperceptibly. Shiro flinched. “It’s been a long time, Shiro. I see a lot has changed.”Essentially, Pidge discovered that Adam wasn't killed in the initial attack. He escaped death and apparently he's been leading a rebellion in Japan? Shiro leaves to find him and a new journey unfolds.

Summary
Someone in the Camelot (Merlin) has rooted out a spy on the council. This anonymous person (who is obviously Merlin) put this accusation into a long letter, full of evidence from a thorough investigation and infiltration of the spy's circle within the staff. Arthur is remarkably impressed with this mystery detective (again, Merlin) and becomes set on uncovering their identity.
Merlin didn't think things would get out of hand. He only wanted to get rid of the spy publicly and legally, so he forewent the magic and decided to conduct a counterintelligence mission for months to gather evidence the old-fashioned way—like anyone would! But suddenly Arthur is searching for him, and magic or not, he learned a long time ago to stay in the shadows.
George is so tired. It is so obvious. King Arthur is disappointingly unobservant, and George cannot take this much longer.

Arthur wasn’t sure what this charm would do, if anything, but he’d held it in his hands, and he’d pressed it to his lips, and he’d willed all of his strength and protection and fervent desire for Merlin to be okay into the metal.
He’d broken his father’s laws for Merlin, Uther’s one cardinal rule, and that had to count for something. Arthur just wasn’t sure what.

Arthur notices the cuts and bruises on Merlin’s skin and assumes the worst. Out of options, he turns to magic for help.
