Lucanis Dellamorte-Volkarin, husband, stay-at-home dad, and part time security contractor, is struggling with the prospect of his young kids growing up and going to school full time. Emmrich Dellamorte-Volkarin, Lucanis' husband, a loving father, and enthusiastic cat dad, does what he can to be supportive.
But things become a bit complicated when Lucanis takes his next job and Emmrich is both harassed by a colleague and starts looking into a theft at his university. And someone still needs to make dinner, pick up the kids from school, and take them to gymnastics and the dentist.
It's just another week at the Dellamorte-Volkarin household.

Summary
Before Maelle leaves the canvas for good, she fulfills Verso's wish to be mortal but also makes him promise to look after Gustave. Even though he's reclutant at first, Verso quickly discovers that maybe it won't be that difficult to keep that promise. Gustave's company is not so bad and maybe he does have it in him to try to enjoy life again.
