Summary
In the world of Auradon there is only good and bad. For Belladonna, she has learned there is endless shades of gray. So when Maleficient sends her with Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos to Auradon, the token "Orphan of the Isle" has some decisions to make. Does she follow along with Maleficient's plan like a good little VK? Or does she do what she wants and protect her friends and help them find a better way of living in Auradon. Does she prove she is more than the little eight year old Maleficient found wandering the streets of the Isle all those years ago? The saying does go, "Not all who wander are lost..." Shane should be proud because he was the only one who put a ring on and locked the notoriously untamable Ilya Rozanov down.
Everyone knows. The world made it a big deal.
So why are girls still acting like his husband is someone available? Why do strangers still look at his husband like he’s fair game? And why does he feel the pit in his stomach over some half-drunk thoughts of random girls in a bar or some girl’s wandering hands on Ilya?
Maybe it’s the alcohol. Or something else.

Shane blinks. “What?”

The question makes Shane’s brain short circuit.
Shane swallows. “I mean—yeah.”
“Then why haven’t you?”
“I don’t know.” Shane shrugs again, shoulders tight. “Timing. People. It’s just… not something I think about like that.”
That’s not entirely true.
He does think about it. Just in a different way. Abstractly. Like something other people do, but not he himself.
Ilya watches him for a long moment.
“I could show you.”
