    EDIT 4/10/26: Fixed four whole pages that were missing dialogue and sound effects in the sex scene. I recommend re-reading because wow, that was supposed to be a major part of the emotional impact of that scene.

    He always had it. Ever since he was little. Since he was born. He was just never told he did. Never allowed to know. He was about Nanako's age when a regular check-up quickly turned sour. He doesn't really remember this, only bits and pieces, but there was a conversation between his doctor and his mother over him, a concern his doctor had that his mother didn't like at all. So much so, she stormed out of the doctor's office with Yu, and immediately found a new doctor for him. He never asked her about it.
    It wasn't until he was 16 and in Inaba when he'd learn what that conversation was about.
