After Clint back chats Steve a little too much, Steve forcibly puts Clint down into subspace, tell him that'll he'll damn well listen to what Steve says, tells him that if he's going to be on the team then he'll be on there under Steve's conditions, which includes one of the new high-tech StarkIndustry collars that can't be removed without a specific code - one that Steve's not telling Clint
Things got better during the seventy years Steve was frozen, but Steve, man out of time, stayed the same.

Steve sees Clint mouthing off a lot and being reckless in the field, learns he's a sub, and concludes that he needs to be brought under control via forced subdrop and a collar he can't take off. That was just normal in the 40's.
Clint does not respond well to this, but he's also too conflicted and compromised to tell anyone, and the rest of the team is oblivious for too damn long. But eventually they figure it out, and read Steve the riot act, and put him through sensitivity classes, and get Clint back into Coulson's care like he's supposed to be.
One of those deeply uncomfortable (and suspenseful) fics that is well worth reading.

During their travels in the Feywild, even Garmelie’s assistance can’t stop Vox Machina from wandering into trouble. It is, after all, what they do best. This time, however, they may have run into something more powerful than even they can face down – in the form of a Wild Hunt, eager for sport and thirsty for blood.
This does not go well for Vox Machina, generally. It goes even worse for Percy, specifically.
Alone, cut off from his party, and being hunted by creatures more dangerous even than the Chroma Conclave, it will take everything Percy has just to survive.

The God of Thunder thought that Idunn was no threat because she was small and dainty, looked like a very young girl, giggled a lot and had a tendency to say silly things nobody wanted to hear. But now she suddenly stood in front of him and had a shiny silver dagger in her hand. With a swift movement, she pushed it up to the hilt into Thor’s side.
Thor had just learned the hard way that Idunn was quick, strong, and completely ruthless when she wanted to make a point. Asgard should have been proud of her.

That fic I can never find when I want it! SPN RPF Omegaverse "Anna and the King" except Anna got brought in as a sex slave which is just Normal in their part of the world (thought to be how omegas get protected; omegas do not have rights).
Key Details for memory: archaeology, bargained away in a card game, seraglio with guards, hiding in trees, emotional disconnect from offspring, phone videos of happier times, parents/family getting a chance to visit, the other harem mates not having a clue why OP is unhappy with this arrangement. Also a reminder never to go to a foreign country without being clear on their level of human rights and freedom of movement.

Rocket Raccoon has OCD. An intense, well-written 2nd-person (You) fic, starting with his time developing sapience in the labs, learning to hate his captors (despite some mixed feelings when some were nicer to him), refusing to learn them as individuals as one of the few ways he could rebel. Also shows how he and Groot began to understand each other, and ways he connected with the others individually.
