After the kind-hearted Doctor of the Wild East takes interest in your ability to repair things, however, your life takes a turn for the strange and you find yourself caught up in a game very different from your time in the dumps of Waterfall.
Monster. Mechanic. Friend to the Wild East's own eccentric sheriff, one North Star, and his co-conspirator to boot. What's a poor human to do? Lie like crazy and hope things don't unravel any further than they already have.

So why, then, does everything about your new life put you at ease? People included, despite their best efforts, and oh how they try to piss you off.

This is attempting something as complicated as "These Games We Play", a very good transformers fic focused on complicated relationships and political intrigue. It also has the qualities of a Case-Fic, ala the Sherlock Holmes Fandom. It doesn't hit the same quality as the former or the procedure of the latter but it's very good and does what it wants to well.
