The Seybold family line is a proud one. One of high standing and powerful mages. Kristen is the eldest daughter, the apple of their parents eye.
Harper is the defect. The spare. The disappointment.
And that’s fine. She has her home, she has her cat, she has the memories of her grandmother. All she needs is peace.
For some reason, her sister does not want to let Harper have her peace, she invades her home against her wishes, causes trouble, and for seemingly no reason other then to irk her, befriends an army of refugee skeletons from a newly emerged set of AU’s.
And as if that wasn’t bad enough— Kristen invites them to stay. As if it her name on the deed and not Harper’s.
And Harper lets them. Because she is stupid, and she is tired, and she is Kindness.
They invade her home without so much as a thank you for dealing with the trouble they cause. They are rude, distrustful, and downright hostile.
They do not follow The Rules.
The ones her parents put in place, the ones the world revolves around. The rules of the higher class, this song and dance they all must do.
Harper has a feeling someone is going to get hurt, and she has a feeling that it’s going to be her.

You just want to get through the repairs without setting the place on fire. Keeping your sanity intact would be a nice bonus.
Or another anti-harem fic, but in this one, the girlfriend is into you too.
