Summary
It is the 75th year of the Hunger Games and the 3rd Quarter Quell.
After the stunt that two tributes from District 4 pulled in the last games, President Kronos punishes the districts by making this year's games a "free for all" where anyone, including past tributes, from the ages of 8 to 80 can be reaped.
However, District 12 still has a volunteer. Fifteen year old Nico di Angelo volunteered for his older sister, Bianca, and is going into an arena with older and experienced fighters that could kill him within seconds.
He is not alone, though, as Will Solace is chosen for the games as well.

Summary
Nico Di Angelo lives alone as a bartender, and he’s determined to kill himself. He’s what sometime might call a ‘lost cause’; he’s an alcoholic, has zero social connections, and he can’t find a reason to continue on anymore.
Will Solace is a broke pre-med student, and he’s decided that life isn’t worth living anymore. He’s watched too many people die; and it’s his fault. At least, that’s what he’d determined.
When the pair meet fatefully as their suicides cross paths, the opportunity for a new life presents itself.
It’s just a shame that it’s so much easier said than done.

Summary
When Nico wakes up in a mortal hospital, he doesn't really know what he's doing there. Everyone is treating him like he's crazy anyway, so why should he stay there? But then he meets a certain blond doctor that makes his life complete and ruins it all at once. Once the pieces start adding up, though, Nico can't leave. In order to save Will and save himself, he has to tell him the truth.
Sequel to/concurrent with What Could've Been Lights so AU set in the modern world where Will doesn't know he's a demigod. Told from Nico's POV instead of Will's. Thank you to auroraborealisgreen for beta reading <3
