As he does, Luo Binghe can see the rise of another dorsal fin fluttering against the base of his spine, the same radiant shades of green and silver rippling through it.
Luo Binghe has only one year to complete his internship with a prestigious company that prides itself on ethical marine practices.The merman they're keeping captive seems to have slipped past their definition of 'ethics'. Now that he's found him, Luo Binghe is determined to get the merman out of that prison and back into his natural environment.

His mutters were consistent with English curses and pleas, but one thing could have been obvious to anyone: Shang Qinghua was a quivering mess.
