Six months coming off their newly-found but hesitant teamwork back in Las Almas, Soap and Ghost have settled themselves into an easy partnership, but as they continue to spend more time together, Soap begins to have thoughts that are definitely not appropriate to have about his Lieutenant. Ghost, struggling with his repressed trauma, had convinced himself long ago that love could never be for him, but he struggles to understand why there is something different about Soap. The two of them try to navigate this complicated, mutual attraction as they become closer and closer every day throughout their investigation. Lewis doesn’t want to say it. If Arthur wants to pretend like he doesn’t know him then Lewis isn’t giving him his name.
“Call me Wraith.” He decides instead.
“Wraith— fitting.” Arthur nods, mostly to himself. “You already know my name— I’m assuming Reverb used it?”
“He did.” Lewis lies.
“Makes sense… Well, uh. I hate to say it but you should probably get comfortable. We might be stuck here for a while.”
(An encounter at the mansion ends with Lewis' anchor under Reverb's control. As it turns out, Arthur's body is also under Reverb's control, which leads to an interesting reunion in their now joined subconscious. Not that Arthur knows who Lewis really is.)
