He opens a drawer and pulls out a paper, starting to write. "Since you're going out then, would you mind going to the store?"
"Don't mind at all." He smiles.
The bar guy leans over to watch him make a list of all of the different stores around them and the cheapest items at each one, focusing on getting the most food for the amount of money they have. "… Do… Do you really have that all memorized??" he asks.
"Generally. Prices can change sometimes, but these are almost always the cheapest options. One thing rises in price, so does everything else." He taps the paper.
"That's a pretty impressive memory you've got." The stand-up guy compliments.
He shrugs. "They're the only things I buy typically." He says, handing the list over, "I'm sure the stores will be out of a lot, but look for this stuff first; I can cook with it, and it will last a while." He hands the money over as well. Very pleased with not having to go out.
"Right. Right. Thanks." The stand-up guy takes. "Alright, as soon as the sun is down, I'm heading out." He says.

"Hey," Vincent smiles and heads over."Well, don't you look keen," alastor coos as he looks Vincent over. "It suits you well."
"Thanks," he smiles, running his fingers over the lapel. "You look fantastic as always," he compliments back. "But I think I have just the thing to complete the look." He holds out his little gift box.
"Oh?" Alastor tilts his head before taking the box to open it up.
It's a little radio-style lapel pin. "I know it's a bit cheesy," he chuckles, "but it reminded me of you."
Alastor looks at it for a bit. "It's lovely." He finally says, carefully removing it from the box.
He smiles. "I'm glad you think so."
Alastor hands over the gift bag. "Mine is a bit cheesy as well," he notes, putting on the lapel pin as soon as his hands are free.
Inside the bag is a small, wooden cathedral radio that is a dark, almost black blue. The "window" part of the radio carved to look like circling sharks.
"Oh," a little spark jumps from one of his antennas to the other as he gently lifts it out and looks it over.

Odysseus arrives home from a voyage to a stranger wandering the beaches of his island, is this some sort of attack? a child of troy here for revenge? or some trick from the gods? no, it's just his son.

Odysseus chuckles, "You have never sparred with anyone else, have you?""No... not really... Hermes didn't really spar…" Telegonus admits
"Ah, yes, I could see that. I will go slow,"
Telegonus needs help getting started, but once they're going, he's a decent fighter. "Don't put all your weight onto the leg; bring it back to your center," Odysseus tells him, shoving him with the flat of his sword.
"Like this?” Telegonus asks as he corrects himself, looking to Odysseus for approval, about as excited to learn as Odysseus is to teach him. He’s missed out on so much of both of his sons’ lives, but he’s not going to miss out on teaching another son to fight.
The kid seems to almost gain energy as the fight goes on, though by the time Odysseus wears himself out, Telegonus is also panting.
"So? What do you think? Not that bad, right?" Telegonus prompts, leaning against his spear.

As Gerard's lying in the hospital bed, still disoriented after the seizure, he sees a yellow door appear right at the foot of his bed Oh... That's odd. He wonders if Gertrude is seeing this or if it's an effect of the pain meds Or brain damage... But as he looks around, he notices she's left him...He looks back to the yellow door, which is now open, a tall figure in a winter jacket stepping out of it. They seem to ever so subtly pulse with colors, leaving an afterimage as they move to him, smiling down at him with a smile that stretches a bit too wide.
But he's too weak... Too out of it to stop them when they start to disconnect his monitors and IVs. Their golden curls dripping down into his face as they lean over and pick him up, carrying him into their door. Are they here to take his skin? his bones? To do something with his fading life? Does it matter? he closes his eyes.
When he finally wakes again, he finds that despite his body still feeling heavy, his head hurts less than it has in years... Though that changes as soon as he opens his eyes and sees the swirling halls he's in and the matching swirling man watching him.

Charlie had planted herself in front of Vox and was rambling off an impressive myriad of excuses, from busted pipes to bad Wi-Fi, while he stared at her, hands on his hips, with the utmost expression of forced patience. His black, digital brows were set in a line as straight as the glower at the bottom of his screen. He does a single, slow blink, finger tapping against his hip as he debates on how much money he can reasonably make on a Charlie Morningstar-inspired white-noise machine (and whether the guaranteed customer complaints will be worth the cheap buck) when a movement over her shoulder draws his eyes.
He leans to the side, eyebrow quirking. "What's that?" Then promptly chokes on a surprised noise and shoves Charlie aside. "Holy shit, is that a human?"
Lucifer plays a prank on Alastor.
Everyone else has to deal with the consequences.
