Peter didn't plan any of this. He didn't plan to fall into the arc reactor holding a mysterious, glowing metal ball he grabbed off an alien. He didn't plan to wake up screaming and in pain outside of a strange city. He didn't plan to go to Gotham, New Jersey.
He might not have planned it, but he's here now. Now Peter needs to find a way home with no ID, no money, and seemingly no way to contact Doctor Strange or anyone else back home for help. But perhaps the wheelchair-bound librarian, a dangerous man with probable ties to crime, and a young genius can help him figure out how to get home.
That is if Spider-man can get on the good side of the local Bats.

Kaveh stiffens, hands tightening their hold on his cup.

“Al-Haitham’s lips curve up into a smile—soft and unassuming—as if even he himself is unaware. It’s warm and fond, and for a moment, Kaveh feels his breath stop, staring at the small tilt in a speechless sort of awe.” OH???? What a fond smile

this was a wonderful fic, got me crying all worried and happy for them
harry impiriusing draco into leaving him so he'd stay safe at hogwarts rather than face Him, and just. the emotions they had for each other.
they became so fond of each other. crazy how 9 1/2 days will allow someone that much of an emotional connection if you're on the run
Esther and Dawn were such wonderful characters, and to tie in ww2? to get draco to really see what a terrible thing He was doing. i just. god.
it was brilliant of them to use the walkies to confuse dolohov and the other death eaters LMAO.
