harry impiriusing draco into leaving him so he'd stay safe at hogwarts rather than face Him, and just. the emotions they had for each other.
they became so fond of each other. crazy how 9 1/2 days will allow someone that much of an emotional connection if you're on the run
Esther and Dawn were such wonderful characters, and to tie in ww2? to get draco to really see what a terrible thing He was doing. i just. god.

God I was so worried for them the entire time they were in the forest and just. How many close calls they had before the eclipse???
I honestly can’t remember how/if Pettigrew became life-indebted to Harry, but god am I glad for it since he saved Harry TWICE. During their trip through the forest.
And the way that Draco came to see Harry’s eyes as a source of comfort rather than fearing them any longer and just realizing that he could trust Harry completely (and the opposite)
Draco picking up that Harry was definitely not straight and then being like “what color are x boy’s eyes” CAUGHT HIM.
And the way that Harry immediately was like “no I need to help save him no matter the cost, even if I die” like sir. Take a moment, but also he cares so so much for Draco.
This was a wonderfully written fic and I’m glad I lost sleep over it 😌😌
