Jinx pressed her lips together.

A beat.
Jinx lifted both hands in surrender. “Fine. The Voldemort of diseases.”
Despite themselves, a few of them huffed out small laughs.
Caitlyn exhaled slowly, shoulders rigid.
“No cancer talk,” she said, more to herself than anyone else. “And nothing that happens on this trip leaves this trip.”
“Exactly,” Vi said.
