Modern Sports Setting (dealer's choice as to what sport) – Character A is drafted into Character B's team whom they have had animosity with from previous games after being abused by their previous teammates. They think character B will treat them the same way and either a) has their guard up all the time or b) is a completely different person. Character B notices, but is unsure how to solve the issue, so they maintain their usual level of ribbing because Character A seems to respond well to that on the court/field/ice rink, not knowing that Character A is dying on the inside.
