Summary
Peter Parker's life finally improves. He's surrounded by friends, family, and, for once, New York seems safe.
But, like all things in Peter’s life, it doesn’t last. And when the Ultimate Spider-Man makes the ultimate sacrifice, his friends are left devastated.
Unable to live with his loss, they do the unthinkable: travel back in time to save him. Only they travel too far back, to when Peter was still known as “Puny Parker.”
Either way, the plan is the same. And Peter? He’s utterly bewildered as to why this absurdly attractive group of people are suddenly obsessed with being around him.

His voice is scratchy as it dies in his throat and he realises, he can’t say it. He can’t fucking say it, because it isn't true. Because Parker doesn’t look like a dolt, he looks beautiful, with his soft curls of brown hair bunched with clusters of leaves and flowers, permanently mussed and framing the length of his face, his distractingly pretty mouth spread into a small smile. Sam gazes up at Peter, an expression of utter horror carved onto his face as what's left of his heart crumbles to dust.
“Um…” Sam mumbles, lowering his eyes and desperately battling the heat he feels pooling around his neck. Soulmates. Fingers shaking, he frantically tries to gather together the broken shards of his heart, an audible moment taken to gather himself which translated to a sob getting caught in his throat. Soulmates.
