The next punch hit Izaya right in the sternum and sent him flying thirty feet across the street. He landed abruptly on his upper back, with his limbs sprawled around him like a discarded ragdoll, and he stopped moving.

Izaya gets what he wanted. Shizuo not so much. One realizes that he wished for something else, the other that what he'd always thought would make his life better does not feel right. Both must now live with themselves, and surprisingly, not necessarily without each other.
