Summary
Criminal Defense Attorney, Nora Adams, takes on a case of a woman named Cait who was sold into trafficking and shot her family in revenge in a drug fueled rage. Conveniently, the crass and tight-lipped woman has an ex-girlfriend, Piper Wright, who’s a reporter for her own small local paper and is determined to keep Cait from a guilty verdict. Nora becomes fascinated with their relationship and finds that her white picket fence, military husband, 10 year old son, and family dog might not be enough to stop her long repressed feelings.
