Summary
They were screaming at each other again. Buck doesn’t really remember what sparked the argument this time, but he knows he’s getting blamed for it. He’s used to being yelled at, it’s not new to him whatsoever. People always had something to reprimand him about, and at some point, he learned to filter parts of it out. Depending on the person he’s talking to, he will only keep himself present enough to give appropriate responses when needed.
Buck and Jake have been dating for a couple of months now, and it hasn’t been the best. On the outside, they look like an incredibly stable and happy couple. In reality, they have many moments where they give each other the silent treatment and others where they are screaming until their throats are sore. Buck thinks Jake hasn’t left yet because Jake enjoys being able to get away with saying some of the shit he does. Buck hasn’t left yet because Jake is a distraction from Eddie— not a very nice one, but a distraction nonetheless.
OR
When an argument between Buck and his boyfriend takes a turn for the worse, Buck stands up for himself, then turns to Eddie for comfort and support. The next morning, feelings are discussed.

Summary
A series of unconnected fics where Buck from 9-1-1 is a Gallagher. Usually, he is the second oldest, only slightly younger than Fiona. I typically like to think of them as Irish Twins, meaning there is less than a 1-year difference between them.
Some of these fics are placed in Chicago as though 9-1-1 occurs there (but with no other changes other than Buck being a Gallagher,) In others Buck moved to LA and the rest of the Gallaghers are still in Chicago.
A lot of these don't include Maddie, but Bring Your Kid to Work Day does. For the rest of the fics I haven't gotten the inspiration I need to write her in, in a way that fits the story, but trust me I love her! And if you want feel free to pretend she exists and just isn't mentioned, or if applicable, it's before she's mentioned in 9-1-1 and is currently estranged from Buck because of Doug.- Words:
