Summary
What if's and more about Hannah and Clay during the events of season 1.
2017 was the year of fidget spinners, the snapchat hotdog, and more importantly, the first season of 13 Reasons Why. I'm writing these in a way that people did back in 2017 when 13 RW only had one season. There's just something about the way the fandom and fanfiction for 13 RW was back then, with season 1 being the best season, and the one that best represents the show.
Edit: 2022/06/19: Title of the series changed because "Helmet Oh My Helmet" wasn't doing it for me anymore

Summary
Jack thought John Marston was dead, until he wasn’t.
Black clouds swelled with rage and lightning slashed across the sky. Nature howled in fury for it sensed once again a great disturbance and spewed forth from the churning skies a force so strong it could stir the dead. A gnarled hand broke through the surface of dampened soil, rising to the supernatural call of the elements that tolled throughout the country like a bell. Knives of rain lashed against the emerging creature. The cold water searched to draw out heat, but on John's body it could find none, for there was no warm life pumping beneath the remains of his grey flesh.

(The post cannon Undead Nightmare fic where John gets a second chance at parenting and Jack gets a second chance to turn his life around after his crimes. Will Jack achieve redemption in the end?)
