The goddess sighed exasperatedly and massaged her temples; concern and amusement were warring inside her. Vi just continued her tirade.
"Would you want to get coffee with me sometime?" Her cadence was so slow, Caitlyn found it adorable.
"Only if you're single, of course."
Caitlyn thought it'd be best to finally answer her, but Powder beat her to it.
"Not everyone is a girl kisser, sis."

Silence.
Caitlyn's hand wrapped around the knight's neck, her grip tightening as the knight continued to stay silent. She could feel every distinct pulse and beat of her heart in her chest and temple. The princess couldn't see anything as images flashed and flitted across her mind– those slimy hands tracing the same ropes of muscle and ink on Violet's body which she explored. The images cleared as the knight held the hand that subconsciously tightened around her own neck. Her touch was so gentle despite the pain Caitlyn was inflicting on her.

"Did you know?" Vi dreaded the answer; the gnawing pit in her stomach grew.
The princess hesitated, the silence incriminating. Violet scoffed, Caitlyn grabbed her arm before she could march away. "Yes– I did but I only found out a couple of days prior to the announcement."
"So you already knew the night before the banquet–" She tugged at the princess's outstretched arm and pulled her close, distance bordering on impropriety if anyone were to see them. "You knew and hid it from me, and still asked to be fucked like a dirty slut."

Summary
They see each other again six months after their breakup. Caitlyn and Vi are wretches who still love each other deeply. Powder takes care of her sister, but also wants Caitlyn's fat wallet back.
She couldn't stop her legs from bouncing, her heartbeat felt too loud and too fast in her chest. She couldn't hear anything but the blood rushing in her head. Vi reread the message repeatedly; she wasn't sure whether she was in the waking world or not. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before opening it again.

Summary

Between Caitlyn's insane Pre-Law class schedule and Vi's commitments to her Engineering degree and her captaincy of the rugby team - and their historic Runeterra University Rugby Championship (RURC) run - Caitlyn and Vi discover that they have a lot more in common than being stressed out of their minds and insanely attracted to each other.
Over the course of the school year, they fall in deeper and deeper, finding out in real time that, sometimes, true love can come from anywhere - even as unlikely a place as the Pilt U library at one o'clock in the morning.
