Summary
Now, as Will sits crumpled on the floor trembling as his vision blurs with tears and still all Mike does is look on blankly, the last remnants of the illusion break. A few years ago, Mike would have immediately rushed to Will’s side, wrapped a comforting arm around his shoulders, pulled him close and told him that it would be okay, that he was safe. And it’s pathetic really, that in his heart of hearts the only thing Will really wants is to feel safe. All he will ever be is a stray dog begging for scraps of companionship on the street, his mind filled with terribly mundane dreams of warmth and softness. His own body hasn’t felt safe since November of 1983, but when Mike held him he always felt a little bit more secure, protected from the real world. He’s on his own now that lifeline is gone, and he’s tired of being brave. He can’t help but feel angry at the world for dealing him this set of cards, leaving him sick. Rotten to the core.

Summary
Suguru stands up too, slowly, as if Satoru is a spooked deer. For the second time this evening, he is at a loss for what to do.
‘I’m supposed to-,’ Satoru furrows his eyebrows in confusion, ‘I’m meant to be doing something, what am I…’ he trails off, wringing his hands. Suguru doesn’t know where Satoru thinks he is, but it can’t be here.
Satoru’s breaths are coming faster and faster as he darts his gaze around, wild eyes scanning the room. Like he’s planning to try to make a break for it. Which, actually-- Suguru thinks, watching Satoru inch closer towards the open window-- Satoru might be planning on doing. Suguru cannot let that happen- a delirious Satoru is a liabilty.or: geto learns that maybe there’s more to the annoying rich kid in his new class than he first thought, and gojo learns that his clan was wrong and it’s okay to accept help from others

‘If you-,’ it seems like Satoru can’t even bring himself to say it ‘-you know, I don’t think I would go with you, but I couldn’t ever hate you.’
‘You should,’ Suguru chokes out. ‘You should hate me. I’m violent.’
Satoru doesn’t say anything in response, instead reaches a hand up to cradle the side of Suguru’s face, something like devotion written openly in his eyes.
Suguru attempts to turn his head away from Satoru’s hand, as if contact with Suguru will sully Satoru somehow, but Satoru refuses to relinquish his hold.or: a post hidden inventory fic where geto gets help in time

“Did you know?” he asked at the last moment, voice cracked and warbly from crying. He hadn’t sounded that young in years.
She hesitated for one painstaking moment, and at last replied, “No, Mike.”
She almost closed the door, but stopped again.
“I am sorry,” she whispered, remorse staining her voice, and quietly closed the door behind her.
Three days after graduation, Will disappeared in the dead of night with nothing but a note left in his absence, and Mike's heart left with him.

Shouto blinks, processing the question. He sounds skeptical when he asks, “You sure you want to spend that much time with me? You used to say being around me makes you lose brain cells.”
Katsuki snorts. “And being around me that much might make you more of an asshole. I’m a major dick, sometimes.”
Shouto huffs a small laugh, and then he smiles. Quiet falls into the night, and Katsuki almost thinks Shouto thought he was joking. But after several minutes, he speaks again.
“Sure, Major Dick,” Shouto says, “Let’s be roommates.”

"Oh my god dude, I’m so sorry, are you ok?" The brown eyes said, and Megumi slowly took note of the face they were attached to. The man in front of him had bubblegum pink hair that glowed sort of orange in the sunlight. His face was a mix of sharp and round features, and he seemed wholly kind. The man's eyebrows were knit in concern and Megumi's focus shifted to the man’s toned arms, one on his head inspecting the wound.
"Uh," Megumi sputtered intelligently, brain still a little broken; half because of the throbbing of his head and half because of the gorgeous man before him. Did he die? Was he in heaven, or was this a dream?
