Its been two years since Mand'alor Din Djarin reclaimed Mandalore and set up a new home for his people, who have come in droves from hidden corners of secret isolation across the galaxy. With Dins strong leadership as well as some guidance from the strangely sentient Darksabre, their new kingdom is flourishing. Now they have turned their attention towards increasing their numbers through rescuing children from the slave trade to be welcomed into their families and raised as Mandalorians.
Din isn't interested in expanding the Clan of Two he shares with Grogu. However, one band of slavers have something that catches his attention - a feisty Tooka hybrid who is as mysterious as he is beautiful. Din immediately takes him to be his consort, trying to earn his affection through kindness and patience. But the Tooka has endured terrible abuse at the hands of the slavers and his trust will not be given easily.
As they navigate their growing feelings and adapt to the change each has brought to the others life, Din learns that there is more to his little Tooka than meets the eye...

Boba regarded him silently for a moment before standing up, walking to the fridge and pulling out two beers. He handed one to Din before he sat down, large eyes staring at him. “When the Brothers of the Sea Clan asked me to take you in,” he started, breaking eye contact to glance down at his drink. “I assumed that there was some sort of important reason.” Boba sighed and took a sip before continuing. “I didn’t know you were in love, Din.”
Din stared down at his beer, unwilling to raise his eyes. If his Clan council got wind of this, his visits to the island would be stopped immediately, Din knew this. He had no idea how Boba would react or what he would do. “Does that change anything, Boba?”
Boba sighed again, lifting his eyes just as Din looked up. “No, brother. It doesn’t. But I’m going to need the full story.”

Some may think it odd that a flower shop could be run by a Jedi - Luke disagrees.
“Luke,” Luke blurts, all semblance of calm he had been working to maintain gone. He fumbles to tuck some of his hair behind his ear as a distraction before he tries again. “My name is Luke.”
Luke doesn’t tell him he’s the only one that runs the shop with his droid. There’s no need to ask for him, ever, but Luke wants him to.
The Mandalorian nods again. “Thank you.” Then, almost a forced afterthought: “Luke.” After, he’s gone, the bell tinkling over the door and sunlight shining off the polished armor as he steps out.
Luke leans over the counter, stretching to catch a glimpse of the man again before the crowds of Galactic City swallow him from sight.
