“O, patch the Flash into our comms,” Tim says, and then, “Dick, we can’t find Bruce.”

“What is that?” Lois says curiously, pulling Clark out of his thoughts.
“Bruce is, uh,” Clark stumbles over his words. He decides to just extend his hands instead in explanation, showing off his tiny charge.
Lois blinks. It takes her a moment to even spot the tiny figure in his hands. Bruce doesn’t move a relative inch, arms hanging stiffly by his sides. Once comprehension dawns on her, her eyes widen in surprise.“Oh my god.” She presses her fingers to her mouth, but Clark can still see the shape of her smile peeking through.
The small movement of Bruce crossing his arms across his chest draws Clark’s gaze down to him, but he can’t see Bruce’s expression from here. No doubt he’s wearing a fierce scowl.

Except it didn't come. Lois hummed thoughtfully as she reached across the table and flicked off her recorder. "I don't know, Bruce. Are you in the market for two overworked investigative reporters that sometimes disappear for weeks on end? Could you handle the Kent-Lane package deal? Since you can't seem to remember how many children you have…perhaps you might forget your partners as well…"
Bruce, who normally had iron-clad control over his face, felt his mouth drop open.
Lois grinned at him, sharp and bright. "I'm calling your bluff, Mr. Wayne. Both of us or no deal."
OR
Lois, Clark, and Bruce finally get their act together. Their kids have mixed reactions (mostly positive... and exasperated.)
