It ends up being more of a grimace, especially when he starts talking, all nasally and stuffed up. “Ready to talk about it now, or are you gonna punch me again?”

Digging his way through one of the cabinets is Izuku himself. Even hidden behind the cabinet door, Hitoshi can hear him muttering, something about spinach and eggs and the ratio of each. He’s about to say good morning when the unmistakable clash of pots and pans clattering into place rings out, and Izuku stumbles back off the counter, desperately clutching at the flat pan that’s fallen into his arms. Once he’s on solid ground, he leans back and smiles, seemingly relieved.
“That’s for the oven, not the stove,” Hitoshi says, and Izuku’s smile drops.(Or: Hitoshi and Izuku enjoy a morning in.)
