Summary
“Oh, I just…picked them up. Y’know, self-taught,” Ric says. Silver bursts out laughing, a booming sound that damn near causes Ric to flinch. It also makes a shiver rush up his spine.
“Off the top of my head, I could name a dozen schools of combat you’re drawing from that had to have been formally taught, several I’m familiar with.” Something in Ric stirs, and there’s a stiffening in his body.
“Oh, yeah?” he asks, on edge. Say Batman, a part of him says. Say you know I was taught by Batman. The other part dreads that answer. Silver seems to notice Ric’s sudden tenseness, and he waves him off.
“Relax. If I started slap fights with every random mercenary, leaguer, assassin, hero—or whatever you consider yourself—that I met randomly in a bar, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my vacation.”
Or: Slade doesn’t remember Dick Grayson. Ric certainly doesn’t remember Slade Wilson. Unfortunately, there is one party that remembers both just fine, and they are not happy to see them together.

Mr. Wright was working on getting his life back, Trucy’s skills as a magician were flourishing, Apollo felt like he was finally finding his purpose, and Klavier…
Well, Apollo didn’t really think about Klavier much after the trial, as guilty he felt admitting that. He guessed he didn’t realize how much he hadn’t been thinking about Klavier until he was face to face with an old Gavinners billboard.

Summary
Couples therapy. To Dick’s amazement, Slade had agreed without a single protest.
The therapy sessions themselves went extremely well. They’d gotten set up with a Justice League-affiliated therapist that wouldn’t psychoanalyze and tell regarding Deathstroke and Nightwing’s relationship, and that gave them the freedom to be transparent with their…unique relationship problems and situation. The main revelation in these sessions was that both Dick and Slade kept anxieties about their relationship to themselves, and they tended to let them fester instead of talking about it. Their therapist suggested that there needed to be a conscious effort to actually voice these anxieties (no matter how silly they felt) before they caused problems within the relationship.
Simple enough. Dick could certainly do that. So could Slade.
Dick just didn’t expect Slade’s insecurities about their relationship to be…like this.
“What if you started killing people, and you decided you didn’t need me anymore?”
“Excuse me?”
Or: 5 times Slade expressed an insecurity that felt a little silly, and the one time he had a valid concern.

Hal stared. “Catchy.”
Barry raised a hand. “Pretty sure your people on the observation deck are calling it The Luthor Project.”
“No one calls it that,” Flag snapped. “And if they do, they’ll be filling out triple the paperwork.”
“What’s the directive, General?” Diana asked.
“Simple,” Flag said. “Luthor needs oversight. A.R.G.U.S. decided it should come from one of you.”
Hal smirked. “You mean us—the League?”
Flag shook his head. “No. I mean him.”
Every head turned toward Superman.

Summary
Julian doesn't think about it much these days. Why should he, when it's been so long?
But when he does, if he does, well—he considers it part and parcel of Garak, that's all. Disconcerting at first, a little invasive. Awfully close to a line but not quite crossing it, and leaving Julian with absolutely no idea what he's meant to do in response. Garak in microcosm, summarized in a single unexpected gesture.
(Or: Julian has always thought Garak just had a weird little habit. Until another Cardassian does the same thing to him, and seems to imbue the gesture with a meaning Julian really had not anticipated.)
