A giggle escaped her, and his stomach tightened at the blissful sound. “Oh, so you’re making dad jokes now?”
When she groaned and somehow sank deeper into her seat, he moved his hand to rest carefully on her bare thigh, “Buck up, kid,” he tapped her once, just enough to set her skin aflame. “Still got a long way to go.”
-When Samira needs to get her things out of her childhood home sooner rather than later, her and Abbot embark on a road trip together. (And of course, there’s only one bed).
