“Incoming,” Jeongguk sing-songs as Sunja finally gets to Jimin and immediately gets up on her hind legs to stick her two huge front paws on Jimin’s small shoulders.
“Ugh,” Jimin says, averting his head to avoid a faceful of Sunja’s tongue. “Can you get this brute off me, Jeongguk? Why do you let her jump on people when she’s literally bigger than a house.”
Sunja is a very manageable 48 kilos, on the small side for a Great Dane, but Jeongguk knows that most people are intimidated by her. Big dogs aren’t common in Seoul and Sunja is a big dog. He knows most people are scared of her, which is hilarious considering she’s a giant teddy bear who hides under a blanket during thunderstorms and sleeps with a blue stuffed rabbit she’s had since she was a baby.
“She likes you, Jimin-ssi. She’s just saying hello,” Jeongguk says, with a smirk, but he does click his tongue twice and pull Sunja off Jimin.
