Val has thawed a little bit from the frigid bitch he’d been in the last few visits.
He brought a drink this time, only for him, of course, sipping it leisurely next to where he’d propped Vox’s head up against the pillows. Vox would be grateful for being able to see something other than the ceiling above the bed and the delayed feeds from his cameras through the building, but Valentino didn’t do it for him. All he can see is Valentino’s long legs stretched out against the sheets, the hemline of his minidress riding up his thigh, and the page of his sketchbook where he’s drawing Vox’s head on more and more humiliating bodies.
“I like this one,” Val says, angling the page so that Vox can’t pretend he doesn’t see it.

Lucifer’s brush stops its broad slash across the rubber duck in his hands. Alastor cannot see his face, but there is an unmistakable note of interest in Lucifer’s previously empty voice. “I can’t harm sinners. You know that.”
Alastor’s shadow grows in anticipation, casting itself across Lucifer’s desk as he approaches. He settles his hands on Lucifer’s tense shoulders, barely able to keep the glee out of his voice as he croons into Lucifer’s ear.
