  Summary

  Being constantly on the run did not usually provide us the best of accommodations. Stealth always was a priority over luxury and as such, Holmes and I had stayed in places of various conditions throughout our years of hunt.

  Summary

  Watson was not surprised to see Holmes already in the sitting room when he came downstairs after dressing for the day. Holmes did not exactly have a regular sleep schedule as he struggled with sleeping, even when he did not have a case, and so he was often awake before Watson.

  “Holmes you must rest,” Watson said, holding onto Holmes. He seemed to be quite unsteady and Watson could feel the heat radiating from him. Even without checking Holmes’ temperature, it was quite clear Holmes was ill.

  “I cannot rest,” Holmes mumbled. He paused to cough and Watson winced at the sound of the congestion in his lungs. “I have inquires, cases to solve.”

  Summary

  Watson slowly made his way towards the stairs but stopped as he passed by Holmes’ closed bedroom door. There were faint noises coming from Holmes’ bedroom, noises of distress. Watson hesitated, unsure of what to do. His instinct was to enter the room and try to help Holmes, but Watson did not know if his help would be welcome, especially as he would have to intrude on Holmes’ personal space to do so.
