Summary
Sometimes, she remembers without remembering– waiting at her door, pouring two cups of tea, going to stargaze and not being alone. She remembers rainy days and quiet smiles, eyes the color of the sky after a thunderstorm clears. Someone takes her by the arm, and the two of them laugh as they dance to the sound of a music box in the middle of her apartment. The music stops, and she reaches out to rewind it.
In her dream, all these memories come rushing back to her like doves back to their nest. She tries to catch them when she wakes, but they always slip away, leaving her with nothing but a handful of feathers if she's lucky.

Summary
There were days when he felt as though he was trapped in a hell of his own creation. Maybe it was karma, a punishment for all the wrongdoings he’d committed in the past, to make him have such overwhelming desire for someone who couldn’t possibly handle the weight of it all.
And therein lies the dilemma. He didn’t have to be gentle with others, but he could control himself perfectly. On the other hand, he had to be gentle with Mona, but the sight of her was enough to snap his strings.
Even after months of their strange, tentative relationship, Mona and Wanderer still haven’t gone all the way. She begins to worry if he finds her unappealing, but she couldn’t be more wrong.

Maybe that meant his guard was up—but he did as she asked, anyway, putting a hand on the door and pushing until it shut with a click.

Summary
Pomni, despite everything, has settled into a routine amidst the constant daily cacophony and chaos of the digital circus, one she desperately keeps to preserve that fragile, ever-doubtful shred of humanity that still manages to exist within her. She tries to, anyway, even if certain bunny-eared castmates were seemingly determined to do everything in their power to disturb said routine, and make her wonder whether the urge to fight to keep something genuine alive in a fake, plastic world is really worth it after all.
When Caine's newest adventure sends the troupe on a ski resort day trip, she may finally have the opportunity to get some of the answers she's been waiting for. Whether they'll be exactly what she's been hoping for, however, is another question entirely.
Or, the one where Jax and Pomni have another fight, get stuck on a ski lift, and things pretty much spiral from there.
