Carson struggles to find herself after Rockford, cast adrift from her friends and from Greta. She quickly learns that she is not the only one, but The Peaches will help each other readjust together. They are there as Carson reclaims lost parts of herself and slowly makes her way across the country to Greta, to her home. It's not that Lupe is a pessimist. Really. Sometimes things go right. And things have been going right: the Peaches are consistently winning; she's acquired a Jess; she's even managed to avoid any extended conversations with Shaw for the last two weeks.
But... generally, at least in her experience, when things go right for longer than five fucking minutes, the world has a habit of using its middle finger to trip her ass over tit.
So, in hindsight, Lupe probably should have predicted that things were about to go to goddamn shit.
