Summary
Han Yoojin reflects on how his life has changed for the better since he regressed.
As Han Yoojin opened his dresser, his eyes glanced at the lone, broken photo frame that was illuminated by the light of the moon. It was a picture of him and Han Yoohyun, together under a blooming plum tree. The picture was taken years ago before their parents died, and it was one of the few pictures that Han Yoojin didn’t throw away.
He didn’t want to lose the last link to his family, no matter how much Han Yoohyun seemed to despise him.

“Han Yoohyun would be the first in line.” Sung Hyunjae nosed Han Yoojin’s neck, “I would be second and Song Taewon would be third.”
When everyone is born with a certain card suit marked on their body, Spade Han Yoojin may or may not take his job as the Queen of Seseong seriously.

She didn’t mind the joke, in fact she tried to play into it. She was more ruthless than the others, scarier, and it was for the best to keep that comparison humorous. To limit her terrifying side to chilly glares and threats of spicy food. It stopped the others from dwelling on it long enough to ask questions, which in turn helped her keep certain things buried in the past.
Then Siffrin knocked on her door in the middle of the night and asked her for just such assistance. Suddenly it wasn’t a joke anymore.

Summary

Taking on the role of Gym Leader would mean that he would be able to battle, day in and day out, with his new team. The tempestuous storm that he had only been able to let loose during that battle with Geeta would have countless opportunities to rage free, filling him with that very same heady rush of glee and frenetic action.
It would mean returning to the pursuit that had given him life, yet the same one that had taken it away.
After his journey in Kanto reached its ultimate conclusion, Red's panicked flight from civilisation lands him on a very different mountain. Halfway across the world, where his fame hopefully has yet to spread, he attempts to rebuild.

Rain poured down in heavy droves, marring any visibility, freezing drops cascaded upon Gold’s shivering body. His clothes soaked through, his hat did little to protect his face as the rain was tilting almost sideways due to the harsh winds. His backpack was soaked, the only inhabitants were his team and the change of clothes he was able to grab. A single change of clothes and his pokeballs, that’s all Gold had to his name.
