The punk scene in all likelihood saved Lark's life; for a while, he was miserable in all the right ways. But reading Kropotkin and doing drugs never actually fixed anything. The only fulfilling part of his life is his job as a sound tech at a local club.
Sadly, sometimes that means he has to deal with asshole musicians who think they're hot shit.

Cassandra was at the bar alone because she wanted to be alone. She liked it. This was exciting. It was exciting to sit around and watch men be weird. It was exciting to have to swoop in and save some poor guy from getting hit on.
