So, while Shane toweled off in the showers, Hayden might have grabbed Boston Lily’s number from his phone.

The title is a PTV ref! Anyways, this is my own little au. I love Ilya and I honestly could not imagine coping with some of the situations he was in. So, in this fic, alcohol and cigarettes aren't enough for him anymore so he starts cutting. He manages to hide it while Shane is dating Rose, so it gets pretty bad. When Shane and Ilya reunite, Shane knows somethings up. That night, he kisses every single scar that now dots Ilya's body.

"It should never be said that Ilya liked getting injured. Sure, he loved getting up in his opposition's face and that had meant taking some serious hits over the years, but he hated being taken off the ice for stupid injuries. Injuries meant getting benched and doing tedious, repetitive exercises until the team doctor decided he was healed enough to rejoin the team. They meant his husband was more neurotic than usual, trying to tend to his every need (Ilya didn’t hate that part, but he did hate that it ruined their sex life). They also meant he couldn’t chase Anya around the yard and hold her like a baby. And that wasn’t even the worst part. The worst part of being injured was that he had to sit idly, especially with a concussion, and that meant he had a lot of time to think which never ended well. "
