Summary
Jon Antilles has always followed the rules Dark Woman taught him. But right now they are in conflict. Surely Rule One (Follow the Force) is more important than Rule Thirteen (Avoid Mandalorians)? And there are children who need rescuing.
Maybe Jon isn't all that good at following the rules.
The idea that Mandalorians can recognize the Mand'alor's soulmate comes from Emrys_Fae's Fate and Choice series, which is tonally very different from this. Since that's all I'm borrowing, I haven't linked this fic as "inspired by" that series. I don't think it would please people who had liked Fate and Choice.
The first six chapters were beta read by the wonderful geniecat2 as part of Fandom Trumps Hate.

Summary
The Fett branch of the Mandalorian mafia is back in San Francisco after the massacre so many years ago. They're building back up before they reveal themselves again, however. Mainly by slowly infiltrating the criminal underground as mercenaries and other supposedly independent, small time criminals.
During this time, Cody and Rex are given a very important mission: infiltrate the Jedi family, that slaughtered the old clan Fett, by being hired as bodyguards for the Jedi boss.
The man that they end up protecting, however, turns out to be not at all who they expected. And no one, least of all the man himself, could have expected the role he will end up playing.

Summary
Stiles Stilinski would like it known that he did not intend to break the law. Or get a new boyfriend. Or be forcefully adopted and recruited by the BAU. He never intended to solve murders, just as he never intended to get his best friend turned into a Halloween stereotype. Though he doesn't regret it, he would like to blame it on Scott and Jackson for leaving Stiles and Danny unsupervised in a lockable room with alcohol. Honestly, their lives would have been much simpler if they had just stuck to the normal teenage things like making out, instead of hacking the BAU.
